Took leave on Thurs, 27 Dec to monitor Skoda and to be around to dispense her small, regular meals. They REALLY can sleep and it was quite amusing to watch their sleeping postures:

Dr K got his nurse to call me up to ask how Skoda was. Was surprised and quite touched. I appreciate the thought and the gesture!

Forgot to add this: On Friday morning, I woke up to find Skoda in the bomb shelter. She had chewed open the new packet of Precription Hill's C/D kibbles and was eating away hungrily. She seemed to speed up eating when she heard my footsteps (for fear that I'd remove the packet away from her?!? :) ) So smart, how did she know the packet contains food?!?
